On January 14, 2022, Nantong Xingchen phenolic product "O-Cresol" successfully completed the EU REACH registration. So far, Nantong Xingchen O-Cresol products have met the EU market access requirement and become a domestic pioneer in entering the EU market.

什么是REACH？

Introduction of REACH Certificate

REACH全称：REGULATIONconcerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction ofChemicals，即化学品注册、评估、许可和限制，是欧盟对进入其市场的所有化学品进行预防性管理的法规，于2007年6月1日起实施。REACH指令要求凡是欧盟进口和在欧盟境内生产的化学品必须通过注册、评估、授权和限制等一组综合评审程序，识别化学品的成分和有害物质，旨在应用上指导或限制使用范围，以达到对人类安全和环境保护的目的。

REACH is the European Regulation on chemicals and their safe use. REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals. The REACH regulation came into force on 1 Jun 2007, establishing a uniform system for the control of chemicals manufactured or imported to the EU.

To guide or limit the scope of application, and to achieve the purpose of human safety and environmental protection, REACH requires that all chemicals importedand produced in the EU must pass registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction and other steps as a set of comprehensive review procedures to identify the components and harmful substances of chemicals.

Registration shall apply to any of the following conditions under EU REACH:

投放欧盟市场超过1吨/年的化学物质；

Substance as such, Manufacture / Import > 1 t/a;

或欧盟市场的配制品中超过1吨/年的化学物质组分；

Substance in a mixture, Manufacture / Import> 1 t/a；

或欧盟市场的物品中有意释放的化学物质，且总量超过1吨/年。

Substance intended to release in an article, Manufacture / Import above a concentrationof 0.1% (w/w) & > 1 t/a.
